Catch-22 is all about the main character yosarrian who is a captin in the u.s. air force who never whants to go to battle and always pleds to the squad doctor before every air run that he's crazy and the doctor every time tells him about catch-22 which is if your sane and want to be grounded for an air run you have to tell the doctor that your crazy but a sane person can't be crazy and the doctor can't grounded anybody he wants either because of catch-22 and the whole book is based around catch-22 and yosarrian.
